St(ill). Still! Ill! Or could it be The Revenge of RunDownSoup? The body breaks and the body is fine.  Having some difficulty managing mine.

I witnessed the slaughtering of a hog three times my size on Doña Aurora's farm this Saturday.  The process takes a whole day. I dealt with it amazingly well.  I have never before watched an animal come apart ( Read more... )

The body breaks and yeah the body takes a long time to get used to that shit... but I think we'd both agree that it's still well worth it.

(I had gastro-intestinal distress for up to 1.5 years after coming home)

I think you should write a book. I love reading your updates. Also, there is a poet that I think you would like, if you don't already know about her. Her name is Carolyn Forche and she wrote some really amazing poems about El Salvador and their revolution. The book is called "The Country Between Us" and its a fast read. I know its sort of different that what you're experiencing, but the way you write reminds me of her.
