update of sorts

The remains of the garage were cleared away a few days ago. Now gravel has filled the place where the burning wreckage once stood. Some additional gravel was added to the alleyway entrance so that people would no longer hurt their cars when pulling out from our place. My wife used excel for the guest list...Worked wonders :)

Might want to look into buying a tux rather than renting. It was only like $20 more for mine. Granted, I didn't have a choice since my wife is allergic to wool and they only rented wool ones, not the other ones.

At the last wedding I was paid to shoot, this was the plan. (I did shoot some candids at the reception, because I had film left over in a couple of cameras, but I didn't charge for doing so.) This is a reasonable approach, because nobody needs to be directing the candids, the candids benefit more from having a dozen lenses in a dozen places at once, and the candids are 'lower stakes' -- not that you'll want to put crappy shots in the album, but there are more different ways to shoot them well, and no single candid shot, other than the bouquet toss, cake cutting, and first dance, which everybody will be shooting, is an absolute "must get right ( ... )
