Today was less of a walking tour, because halfway through the first leg, the rain got in the way. So, I only made it from my house (HCR, on the map) to Gare Cornavin before giving up and taking the bus. Hi, it's Mom. It's almost like being there. I do resent your taunts about "why aren't you visiting too." Seriously, love the photos...especially the Schtumpfs! How fun! I'd love to live there. Please tell me they aren't all in use for the sex trade. I am so enjoying all the places you are seeing. How nice of Barras to share his friends! You owe him big time for going beyond the call of duty as a shared-space roomie. The fact that he is so tidy is way cool! He gets my vote as your newest "best" friend. You've got wonderful friends and he is a fabulous addition. Maybe he'll come to visit you in the States sometime. I'm thinking he's pretty conversant in English. Is he helping you work on your French? You are brave for facing the "raw" Genevan without a translator nearby. I'd be dying a thousand deaths over what I was probably implying or offering. Geneva seems pretty civil. Lucky girl! Have a great time and keep up the pictures. It is wonderful. Thank you muchly! Love Mom

I saw Dr. Suess in it even before I started reading your comments!
