Lucky me
I worked for all of an hour and a half today. They had to close the office cause there was no water and no air conditioning. Yay no work! Damn, I could've stayed in NJ for another night...
So the only way I could get out of being stuck in my place with my father all weekend was to head up to NJ and that's exactly what I did. :-)
Did the normal stuff, chased around my niece, hung around with my friends and went to the bar. I preceded to get drunk and started to joke around fight with some people. Man, it is not smart to try and play fight while drunk. My ribs hurt! The boys aren't feeling so well either though! Hah!
Sunday I hung out with Bryan. He's doing a lot better, was even on his bike this weekend. But we'll see how it all goes cause he starts his chemo today :-( He's hoping to come down and visit once he gets used to it, so I'm crossing my fingers.
And beware, it might snow in hell pretty soon. My whole family sat and ate Sunday dinner at the dinner table yesterday. Tyr, Jerry, Mom, Dad, Alex, & me all there and no fighting either. This hasn't happened in a good 14 years or so. I was pleased though, although a little weird about it.
Now I'm back home and kinda wishing I was still up there. The trips are getting better for some strange reason. I dunno, we'll see.
