Twenty-Three [Video/Action for Goldenrod.]

[When the Video turns on, Ritsu is in the Pokemon Center. His face looks tired, pale and worn, eyes red, and he coughs every once in a while, as if he's been poisoned. He had a rough ride on the train disaster. He sighs, looking down at the gear, sitting beside someone's bed.]

[Estelle worked in the Goldenrod Center for months, she's actually happy to be back and helping. Ever polite, she will knock before opening the door to this room...and yet look surprised to find someone inside.]

O-Oh...I'm sorry for disturbing you.

[Startled, he quickly gets out of his chair, dropping his Pokegear to the ground, and bows deeply.]

I'm sorry to have taken up this room!

Oh, no, please! Don't worry about it at all. That's what the rooms here are for.

[And now that she can see a bit more of the situation] Please sit back down. You must be very tired.

I'm sorry for worrying and bothering you, I will try to give you less reasons for both!

[He obediently sits back down, clearing his throat painfully for a moment.]

[ Not long after Ritsu's broadcast, a rather distressed-looking Haunter comes bursting into the room- likely through a wall since, you know, ghost. ]

Haunter! Haunt!

[ It looks around wildly for a moment, before its gaze falls on the girl on the bed. It makes a beeline for Kisa ]

HAAAAAAUUUU!

[ action ] that's awful XD

[trouser_chimp]

[Ritsu is startled and frightened by the appearance of the Haunter. Not knowing whether this was friend or foe, he suddenly throws himself onto the bed, clutching Kisa's close, and uses his body as a shield for whatever the Pokemon is planning.]

No!

[ action ] I know I am a bad person and should feel bad.

[getthehorns]

Haunter! Haunter!

[ The Haunter flies around them both in a tight circle, trying to get a look at Kisa. He almost makes a grab for her, but thankfully Cliffjumper appears in the doorway, looking a bit out of breath. ]

Specter! Stop it! We came to visit, not scare everybody scrapless!

Haaaau...

[ Dejected, Specter floats over into a corner. ]

[ action ]

[trouser_chimp]

[He keeps holding onto and protecting Kisa until he hears the new voice. Confused, he sits on the bed, still holding Kisa close to his body.]

Visit...?

[puppet_paladin]

...I see. Thank you for telling us. I hope she will see nothing but pleasant events.

[but his eyes go down, as if he doesn't really believe that will happen.]

[Between those downcast eyes and that cough...]

Perhaps you should rest while she sleeps. If she hears that cough when she wakes up, she'll worry.

I apologize, but I feel I cannot rest. I have seen her threatened once already, and my fears will not be quieted.

[Sorry Ritsu. There is, once again, a very big man barging his way into the room. At least this one isn't accompanied by a ghost?]

[He's about to demand to know what happened, but... well. It was already said. So he shuts his mouth. And just sort of awkwardly... looms.]

[Wow, Kisa had made friends with a lot of scary people. Ritsu jerks in surprise, staring, but after a quick hard cough, he tries to settle himself.]

She's only asleep.

[Action]

[show_my_cannons]

[The more scary people Kisa is friends with, the less bothered she'll be? :D]

[Ironhide just folds his arms, and continues looking imposing and uncomfortable at the same time.]

... But she will wake up?

[Action]

[he nods, swallowing.]
