the kind folks at merge records sent me a promo of that album a couple of days ago, i haven't had a chance to listen to it yet, but if what you say is true aaron shaul is planning on attending as well.

those kids at merge records are quite nice. i think the album is gorgeous, sometimes it reminds me of older Modest Mouse, sometimes it reminds me of 'Soft Bulliten' era Flaming Lips, sometimes it reminds me of Talking Heads....but for some reason i sense this great aura of Autumn when listening to it. which is the sign of a great album in my book. beautiful stuff. let me know what you think of it!
