A few weeks ago I time tracked a few days, and found with my constant snacking I'm spending significant time a) getting food, b) preparing food c) cleaning up after it, which is eating into productive time. Second which was less surprising, is that the internet access derails me from the tasks I set for myself the prior day. Second my office ( Read more... )

Apostrophes are for possessive words and contractions, not plural words. That's an apostrophe's purpose.

Hey, that's a neat idea for a collaborative review site. Rating and reviewing cafes for the electronic nomad. Maybe combine it with google maps?

good ideas. I've started using an spreadsheet to start flushing out the data locally, once it's solidified I'll look at building it. Should be pretty cheap/easy.

http://www.electronicnomad.com - a blog
electronicnomads.com - available.
digitalnomad is taken (one of htose junk sites)
digitalnomadics isn't.
nomadics
technomad - outdoor speakers.

"I'm spending significant time a) getting food, b) preparing food c) cleaning up after it"
- GirlFriday to take care of logistics, including fixing the chair.

"internet access derails me from the tasks I set for myself"
- Try hosteling. You'd be hard pressed to find internet access.

I have in the past used a Girl Friday (and am outsourcing other areas of my life). There are many benefits from getting out of the house/headspace and not having to preplan a eating. In the walk i also discover new things.

The chair isn't quite worth fixing, I really need something with a higher seat post. I'm also building another chair, but that's taking time better spent elsewhere. Overall cafe's are just as comfortable.

Hostelling is good idea and I'll be more compatible with that in the future. Right now I do have commitments here (girlfrined, housemate, music gear) and I really like my sleeping environment. Dark, warm, qiet, no univited guests. Shower etc.

So when your commitments end (girlfriend, housemate, music gear) you'll travel?
