A vacation from our vacation

I'm so glad the kids are out of school tomorrow. I need a good night's rest. A vacation from our vacation. *laugh* No, actually the camping this weekend was wonderful. We couldn't have asked for better weather, especially to sleep at night in the tents. We met some wonderful people in the campsite next to us and may meet them for camping again.

That sounds like a nice campground! I've only camped at Hickory Creek Park on Lake Lewisville so far. It's nice (not all the tables are covered) but you don't want a site on the water if it's chilly because the breeze off the lake is darned cold then.

Does this mean Matthew is a bear?

We're about to do a real adventurous camping adventure here. I'm going to put up two small tents in the back yard. Woo Hoo! Go us!

But at least we'll have showers and toilets. And a fence to protect us from all the coyotes.
