Earlier tonight I went on my 'Night safari' with Barbara Berry from Legacy Studios. We were all set up outside of the Winspear Opera House in downtown Dallas. I actually learned a lot about night photography! I also ended up shooting COMPLETELY manual, even focusing, when my auto-focus went out on about the third shot. *sigh* Through adversity, we ( Read more... )

First comment - if you are going to be posting your photos, then change your settings. "Bitch about it" will not be accurate, thankyouverymuch.

I love love the second one. The reflecting pool looks more like a painting than a photo. The serenity of the grey tones was outa sight. The first one - if you brightened it up, it could be a great pop art piece. The car? The first one, that's all fuzzy except the car - if that's not a print ad, I don't know what is. Way cool. Even better since I know you did everything manually.

I'm really looking forward to seeing more, Trish. I really am!

I really like the first one as well, I love how dark it and has so much RED lights, truly awesome.

The second on in the daylight, I'm not a fan of the random people in photos, looks like it should be on a college brochure....if that's the look you were going for it looks great lol. I too like the greys in that one.

The night time building scenes, the clouds look ominous, but I do like the contrast of the light/buildings, maybe try that one again on a clear night. Or a different cloudy night, I cant decide if I like the light in them or not.... just thinking I'd like to compare clouds.

My 2nd fave is pic 6, I love the loggia contras and the lighting of it, way cool :)

Constructive enough? They all are really awesome in my book, and I enjoy looking at everyone of them.
