I'm waiting for them to skype me so I can give my presentation. Man, they are really behind schedule. Anyway, I've got more free time to think because of the two hour commute to work. And here's what I've thought of

Another reason why people might not ask you out:
Most people are wusses who are afraid of rejection. (I include myself here--had the chance to just hang out with an ex-crush. Chickened out.)
And IMO the bar/club is just terrible for meeting people you would actually want to be with when sober. Work is no good because it's too complicated. My plan is to go to sci-fi conventions and have my pick of geeks or the military. (Imbalanced gender ratios!)
