I think most people start a journal because of something that happen to them and they need a place to write it down. A place to keep it straight. I know it works because over the years I have written several letters to people that angered me and never sent them. Once it was on paper I felt better. Unfortunatly I hate to write. I added you because ascholes said I should and well she rocks (but you already knew that).

Anyway I've been doing the whole on-line journal for about 3 years now and it's really helped me a lot to put things out there and process my thoughts. I'll go through old entries in time and amaze myself with how different things were at the time and how they're no where near as serious as I thought they were in the moment. It's really helped me move on in a lot of aspects of my life.

Same here. I was telling Dani that I started this journal back in 2001 when M and I were at the rockiest point of our relationship and we had no clue where it was going. It was an outlet where I could express all my feelings down on paper and it made me feel so much better and since I can type faster than I can write it was easier with a computer app. (wow that was a babbling runon)

Aww, you rock too girl! Even if you did get all sweaty and dirty with my husband (then boyfriend) *grin*
