the prefix 'pre' _ George Carlin
That’s another complaint of mine: too much use of this prefix ‘pre-,’ it’s all over the language now, ‘pre-’ this, ‘pre-’ that. “Place the turkey in a pre-heated oven.” That’s ridiculous, there’s only two states an oven can possibly exist in, heated or un-heated! ‘Pre-heated’ is a meaningless fucking term. an apology
Back in October, we moved. It wasn't a pleasant experience, as a matter of fact, I would say it was one of the harder moves of my life (that includes the one where I left my wife while she was away one weekend). gun control
Every time some kook gets his hands on a gun and does horrific things to innocent people, the question of whether guns should be legal pops up. My opinion on this matter has always been that guns don't kill people, people kill people (but the gun certainly makes it easier). I'm paraphrasing from Eddie Izzard of course.
