Summary: Dante can't make the ghosts go away. But he'll try his best to protect Rinali anyway.

The comments from other people had helped. Everyone, even if it seemed mean, were doing their own to support and ease her troubled mind though a bit of it lingered. Mostly bad memories of the man with the evil looking eyes.

She remained on her bed with her head stuffed in a pillow, not wanting to see her ghosts but soon enough a familiar voice rang out and she thanked whatever God was in this place for life. "Dante?" She asked as she rose her head up, barely flinching at the man standing infront of her bed...much like did when she was little. "You really came.."

"Yeah, I said I would. I'm not leaving you alone with that bastard."

Dante came closer, and plopped down next to her. He stared at the man that she so feared, but he really felt helpless. There wasn't a beast of flesh and blood that he couldn't defeat, he knew that. But when it came to this, he could do nothing but offer Lenalee support.

"I tend to feel bad when I feel so powerless." She said quietly as she glanced up at the man with white hair. "Give me akuma and I'll defeat them...but this- seeing his face.." She furrowed her brow and shook her head. "I don't like it." She sighed with breath becoming shaky with fear for how the man would linger over her bed when she was little. Taunt her in to thinking she'd never leave the Order. Her legs could only take her so far but she was still caged.

"How can I ever thank you?" She asked quietly while her hand found its way to cup his cheek.

"Kind of hard not to feel powerless. It's one thing to have some bastard you can shoot. This... Is just a taunt."

[Dante smiles at her, pleased that he's helping a little at least. He can't make the man go away, but he can be here as a distraction.]

"We'll call the kiss pre-payment, huh?"
