I remember storms like this in Palmacosta...and the storms Aqua caused, too. Some of those were pretty bad. But this is a real one, one we can't stop. All we can do is help who we can ( Read more... )

Don't be an idiot. You can't go down to the docks.

But I feel like it's not right to stand by while they're in danger, either.

If you want to be asphyxiated, by all means go down to the docks.

My grandfather's in a quite a state.

No. I'll stay here. I understand now.

But are you all right? I'm worried about you, too.

As tempting as it is, unless someone knows what he or she is doing it is best to stay put. It does no one any good if he or she gets lost as well.

...But! You knew someone who could make storms?

I suppose you're right. I don't want to cause any more trouble when there's already so much of it.

And, um That was Not exactly. I was writing that more for myself than anything. Aqua didn't make the storms, but she was the reason Palmacosta had a lot of storms a while ago. It's complicated.

Jaina's right, Emil. Please give me time to sort out this mess. I can't do it if people rush to the docks. I don't want him to hurt anybody--and for no-one to hurt him.

Him? What do you mean?

[He notices what Jaina's written and crosses out the first line.]

Oh.

There's so much going on now. It's like the storm is bringing out the worst in everything.

I won't go. I promise. I'm sorry for troubling you like that.

Thanks. I want everyone to be safe--including him. It's no trouble, but I need time.
