Trying to investigate the ship that appeared in the harbor didn't turn out so well. What were those people using? I know those things must have been some kind of weapon, but I've never seen anything like it before!

Sort of. Whatever it was the pirates on that ship were using, it could reach a long way. Some people around me got hit. But the pirates fired more at the people who were boarding, so I'm okay! It's everyone else I'm worried about.

I'm fine. But those things were cannons? Like mana cannons? But that's really dangerous!

Well, yeah. The weapons were long range, right? And if they were machine guns I doubt you would have been missed like that.

But I don't know so much about that mana cannon bit...but who knows? What did they shoot? Big black balls? But yeah, they are really dangerous.

Yeah, they were. But I don't know what they were shooting...I never tried getting a good look.

Pirates with primitive, seafaring ships. I'd say more than not, that the weapons they were using were some sort of bulleted weapons. Guns and cannons. Anything more advanced would have done a lot more damage.

Gels?

I've never heard of guns or cannons, but yes. That's what other people have said, too.

You don't know what gels are? I was wondering why they didn't have them in the shops. They're like candy, but if you're hurt they heal the damage a little and help you keep going.
