Yesterday was some day. Not only did I find out that I am going to receive a silver medal in the gals tournament for doing nothing, I also had the treat of sitting beside my dad inside the car while he was giving a sermon.
Yesterday morning we had the GALS tournament once more. We lost to AC. Ate Sasha did not win her singles and Sugar and Eunice lost (for the first time) in their doubles. Well, there's always a first for everything. :D We could have won against AC if they didn't outsmart us. They made Sugar and Eunice play against their division 1 players even though we were in division 3. But we can't diqualify them for I don't know what reason. Pff..Let them have their gold, at least we got our silver fair and square. Bleh! >:P
Oh yes, we won against Siena College by the way by default. They were our last opponent so when we found out we won by default, we left immediately. (I can't explain to you how boring and hot it was and we had other plans for the day anyway.) We rode separate cars. My ate and I rode with our mom while Sugar and Tyzia rode with our dad. We ate in separate places too. We ate in Siamese Grill while the latter ate in I don't know where. Seriously, I don't. Hehe.. :D
When we arrived home, my ate just took a quick shower then she was on her way to Bench Fix in Katipunan for her hair and make-up thingy. She arrived at 4pm and her prom starts at 6pm. How early. Well, she came home at round 6pm and wore her gown and everything while the rest of us were dressing up since we wanted to got to Eastwood. We left at 7pm and arrived Discovery Suites (where the prom was being held) at 7:30pm. Oh well, at least she wasn't the only one late.
There, we ate dinner in Tokyo Tokyo Eastwood after we dropped her off. We were sooo bored after our dinner. We were just bumming around at the play place waiting for the clock to strike 10 so we could pick up my sister already. I invited my mom to watch a movie but then she didn't want to so I was practically annoyed because all of us were just waiting for a miracle to happen.
We left Eastwood at around 10:30pm (I am so fed-up with this place already.) and arrived at Discovery Suites at 11pm. My mom and I went up to see how things were going since the party still ends at 12. I was so bored for he first 15 minutes of my stay there. But then a miracle happened! I saw a friendly face ascending up the stairs and wave at me. It was Teddy!! Oops, I meant Bea Zapanta (She wouldn't have been there if they didn't check-in.). :D Boredom was all lost! I asked her if she wanted to go to Magi's room. Good thing she agreed. Haha! I asked ate Maan what room and floor were they in. It was very funny since we had to shout at each other just to communicate even though we were just one foot apart. Well, Teddy and I kind of had to play with the elevator first before going to Magi's room. Good thing the elevator was vacant...
*ding-dong* That was the sound of the doorbell in Magi's room. Ate Maan and she had a separate room from her parents and Maxi. I forgot to ask her if her brother was at home but most likely, yes, he was. I don't know what was wrong with this friend of mine. The temperature outside was 19 degrees celsius and her aircon temperature was like 12 or 15 degrees! Does she want to create a giant freezer or what?! Haha! She even kept on complaining that it was so cold. Gee...I wonder why.
I think Magi got somewhat annoyed with me and Teddy (either that or she was just simply amused which I doubt) because we kept on touching the stuff inside the hotel and asking why she had vodka and beer inside the fridge. I even offered her to drink (jokingly of course) but then she refused. Haha! There, we decided to go back to the prom again. Magi asked for a key from her dad (we somewhat wasted a lot of time here because she couldn't find the right key) then were on our way to the 42nd floor.
When we arrived, it was already the end of the party and time to go home. So I had to say my goodbyes and the sort. Well, the car was already waiting outside. My dad was the one driving. I happened to end-up sitting in front (we were using the van by the way) beside my dad. He gave my ate a sermon and he was driving really fast. I won't and can't tell you why but all I can say was that he was really mad. I admit, I was annoyed at him but I can't do anything about it since he's my dad. Family is family.
We arrived home at around 1am and my parents had some kind of fit. Well, it's part of life so better live with it.
Before I forget, Happy 17th Birthday Jeremy Sumpter! May you have many more to come! ;D
