Things are going much better now.  We moved her out of critical care and into the regular hospital.  They had put 3 units of blood in her and she is looking a lot better having regained all of her color.  She also seems to be maintaining a normal hemoglobin level.  She is still on the clear liquid diet and luckily they are allowing her to have two

Well, we always knew that Captain Zoo was the most impressive. We just wish that is this particular case, her colan wasn't quite so impressive. Glad to hear that she's doing better. And tell her that I'm going to stuff her full of deviled eggs just as soon as she's well enough to handle them ;)
