I saw Twilight, and it wasn't bad. Though I do think they made the vampires far too powerful. What is this book about, without spoiling it?

I've only read the first.

And I pretty much summed it up... it feels like pretty much a dialogue between Bella and Edward with Edward always saying "I"m so very dangerous but I can't stay away from you." and Bella responding with "It's okay, I <3 you." Over.. and over.. and over... and every now and then (And by every now and then I mean like every other page) she's describing how delicious his breath is and how it makes her dizzy and happy, and he is describing how he really only likes her cause she smells nice.

I haven't seen the movie, but I really hope they left in the part were Edward sparkles.

It's sci-fi and takes place in a dystopian future where the rich and well off host a sports competition called the Hunger Games. They pick 2 teenagers, ages 12-18, from each of 12 districts by lottery. The winner is the last one left alive.

Vampire Academy was good, huh? I was shying away from that because it appeared to be another Twi-clone. >.<
