God it was hard to work today. The weekend was good but over too quickly. I went to see Jamie’s band Friday night. Apart from him being a friend, I genuinely think they’re quite good. The venue was more than naff though: Storm on Leicester Square. I remember now why I hate Leicester Square - full of people who don’t know any better being taken

er, yeah, sorry we weren't more entertaining last night, we WERE planning to go to the pub but then we all sort of died. Then we woke up and became very girly and giggly. It can't have been much fun for you, I do apologise. There really was an excessive amount of crap tv wasn't there?

No, actually, I wasn't bored at all. There is a place for doing nothing more than lounging around on a Sunday evening. As I said, it has to be done every now and again, and I was a bit knackered myself having brilliantly decided to stay up when I got in from the Barfly. I only left as I was painfully aware of having to get up on Monday and I thought you collectively might want your living room back after I'd been there SIX hours! Got home in time for the shock No.1 in the Top Cartoons though...
