Jamie’s gig last night seemed to go well. Despite the best efforts of the sound engineer who had them feeding back for the first two songs. But it came together, a good set in all and the label people came, listened to the end and left. So here’s hoping

Hoist with my own petard. Thank you, Mary! A rogue apostrophe is better than "Being a modern and biggest university in UK in terms of size and number of students, we should be having the top quality education" or "Being a student of London Met for about three years have taught me a lot of things" though. I wouldn't mind if any of them had anything interesting to say. To be fair, one of the candidates for President wants "a union that campaigns against war, racism and privatisation". Sounds like a dangerous leftie to me, got my vote then.

Our Union elections have been on all week. Student politics is horrible - Hannah, one of the more promising presedential candidates discovered last night that her manifesto had been taken out of the catalogue in a number of pollng stations around campus, which I thought was a bit disgraceful to be honest. And the candidates running in teams seem to be under the impression that the only way to galvanize student action is to bribe them with maoam. I just took advantage of the maoam and didnt vote for them
