Survey Thing
So I got a link here from one of my friends and went all, "must do!" Anyway, here are my answers - warning though, I tend to write a lot for things~. n_n;

1. What's your name or/and nickname (either RL or Internet, or both)?
My 'net name is Saemir.
2. Yourself in 3 words?
Catlike curiosity, connections.
3. Personality?
I tend to think of myself differently depending on the day. *grins wryly* Sometimes I'm hugely cynical but most of the time I tend to be more of an optimist. Still, even then it's more out of a desire to convince myself that things will work out than blind belief.
I'm immensely loyal to the people I care about, and would never abandon them. It also takes a lot to get me angry. My biggest trigger point is betrayal, and if I feel I've been betrayed I never forgive easily. I have two general reactions to that - avoidance or explosion. I don't really enjoy that however, so I prefer to be polite but distant when angered.
I'm also rather ambitious, though recently that ambition has been a bit directionless - I know some of what I'm going to do *grins* but past that... *shrugs* We'll have to see.
4. Strengths?
Single-minded determination and focus (should the situation require it), the ability to find humor in almost any situation, open-minded, loyal, generally positive, and able to not take myself too seriously. *grins*
5. Weaknesses?
Jealously, competitiveness, occasional swings between intense self-doubt and snobbishness, and the desire to try to do a bit of everything - which often means I wind up finishing nothing.

6. Likes?
Manga/anime (Bleach, Hana Kimi, YGO, etc), traditional art, ancient history, technology, psychology, chilling with friends, figuring out what makes people tick *grins*...basically figuring out the ins and outs of people, situations, etc - you can never have too much information.
7. Dislikes?
Hypocrites, malicious liars, idiots who make no attempt to improve themselves, people who try to hurt others for the sake of causing pain or to inflate their own sense of self-worth, incompetents.
8. Hobbies?
Amateur photography, web design, reading, taking walks while mentally composing stories, hanging with friends, making people laugh, watching movies...
9. Talents?
Some talent with a camera, web design, singing, writing, and coming up with completely plausible excuses or completely outrageous stories on the spot (I can bs like a champion).
10. Goals?
To publish a book by the time I graduate. To either find a great job involving Japanese and politics (in some way or another) or go on to grad school. To figure out exactly what I want from my life and pursue it.

11. Mature or immature?
Erm. Rather immature, really...
12. Leader or follower?
I'm more comfortable as a follower. Though if I feel like the leaders aren't doing there jobs, or aren't doing them well enough, I will step in.

Normal, I think?
14. Optimistic or pessimistic?
Usually optimistic.
15. Social or shy?
Depends who I'm talking with, and on my mood. Generally I'm pretty social, but after a while I'll need my privacy. Preferably for a day or more.
16. Speaker or listener?
Both, but more on the speaking side.
17. Business or fun?
Oh, definitely fun.
Yu-Gi-Oh!
1. Favorite character(s)?
Ryou Bakura, Yami Bakura, and Thief King Bakura. They are utter win.
2. Least favorite character(s)?
Tea can jump off a bridge, along with everyone from the Orichalchos (however that's spelled) Arc. Personally I rather like the manga, and words really can't describe just how utterly horrible she was there - at least not without a dictionary full of swears. 'Contempt' is too good for how I feel. As for the others, they don't exist. Those characters are part of what I consider an incredibly poor filler arc, and I refuse to recognize them. I say this in the nicest way possible.
3. Favorite pairing(s)?
Well, I'm a slash fan, first of all. So I adore pairing the Bakurae together (OTP!). The only straight pairing I could possibly see would be Joey/Mai, buy I infinitely prefer him with Kaiba. Also, Yami/Yugi is rather good.

Not at all.
