Earthquake in Chile

As most of you have probably heard by now, there was a very strong earthquake here in Chile. Thankfully all of my family and friends are ok and other than the scare, we have nothing to lament. However, there are lots of people that are not as lucky and need our help. If you can, donate to the Red Cross ( Read more... )

Oh, Nick, I'm so glad to hear you and your family are okay. All those images have been so scary. I'm amazed at your calm demeanor during the wake... I can't imagine staying in bed during all the shaking. You surprise me, in a good way, of course! And I'm sure your cousin was very grateful to have you check on her. :)

Well, it was one of the scariest experiences of my life... but it hit me not during the quake but a couples of hours after....

I was thinking about you when I heard the news, so I'm glad you're okay. Although, I would be really freaked out to stay in my apartment if it had shook like that.

when you live in tall apartment buildings there is not much choice... you just have to ride it out... that's not say I wasn't crapping my pants..
