OMG! I was so excited! Thanks to jclovergrace, these wonderful pictures of Chris surfaced. They're from last week in Texas! I can't get over the full beard! Chris has always cracked me up, but he really looks good with the beard! Thank you, Grace, for sharing these! :)
And to those who inquired, the negotiations did not go well. The administrative side just refuses to hear our side. All they keep saying is that there's going to be a huge financial deficit in our school district over the next two years. Yet, we are currently spending 2 million dollars for astro turf for the high school soccer field. I'm sorry, if you have no money for employees, how can you justify spending that kind of money for athletics? Maybe I'm missing something here. Oh well, they told us we have until April 15 to reach an agreement or they're going to end expedited bargaining, open up full fledged bargaining AND have the lawyer return! Oh, wait! Isn't that going to cost MORE money? Hmmmmmm, the mind does wander!
Now, I thought about doing that question poll that I've seen in just about everyone's journals, but since I'm not one to ask a lot of questions, I decided not to put y'all through that! Aren't you glad! ;)
