Well, if he hadn't eaten in that long, he was likely suffering from hypoglycemia, which causes dementia all on its own. It's sort of scary but also a massive relief how much of a lizard-brain activity driving is- -otherwise there'd be a LOT more crashes occurring. Glad to hear he's well!
