Curious. Has anyone ever tried requesting one of these deep sleeps purposely? I can see how it might be useful during certain periods of time, and I won't pretend that Christmas in a prison would not make the shortlist.

My other question is if anyone of importance has proceeded to leave or graduate in my absence. Do consider that qualifier.

I should think it more worrying that there are greater forces outside the Admiral's control, in this realm. I would sooner believe he just pretends to prevent further whining at him.

It hardly need be, although I suspect standards on the Barge to be a little skewed. 'As long as it doesn't kill you'.

But I was merely seeking practical application to a rather distressing phenomenon.
