Curious. Has anyone ever tried requesting one of these deep sleeps purposely? I can see how it might be useful during certain periods of time, and I won't pretend that Christmas in a prison would not make the shortlist.

My other question is if anyone of importance has proceeded to leave or graduate in my absence. Do consider that qualifier.

I fail to see what's so terrible about Christmas. I hardly enjoy it, but it doesn't seem to be immediately life threatening.

It hardly need be, although I suspect standards on the Barge to be a little skewed. 'As long as it doesn't kill you'.
