Last night was the first drive back home Josh and I have taken since spring break. Not to mention, since we both have work and class now the most time we spend together is an hour before sleep usually. So we spent those 4 hours talking and the time flew by. It was nice. Very nice

It's so weird that you still refer to your parents' place as home! Jake does that too though, and we've been living together for over a year. But I've never really felt like either of my parents' houses were my "home" per se, so that might be the difference.

I don't know why. Its so hard to transition. I think that's how I am with Mike too.. He's more of a father than my father was, but I can't call him dad unless its in writing. Its always Mike.

I had a discussion with Josh about it a few times, why we call each places our home and how neither of them feel like home. Our apartment doesn't feel completely like home, but when we go back to our hometowns its awkward and doesn't feel like home either.
