I've never been to Maine.

Jon and I are planning a trip over Patriot's Day weekend.

So, those of you who have been to Maine, what should one do there?

I'm looking for places to stay, eat, sights, bars, etc. etc.

All around Portland, ME...I lurve it there.

I've been going up to Portland for work for 8+ years and I absolutely love the old port area. Lots of cute little shops, restaurants and brew pubs. There are plenty of hotels, but I've never stayed in them.

You might want to check in with Jan and Barb. They still live there.

Don't know if you're into camping, but there's a wonderful campground called Hermit Island. It's actually a penninsula thats only connected to the mainland by this little road. I go every year and have a lot of fun. it's just outside of bathe.
