Welcome to 2011 everyone!
Of course, many of you will have been happily settled in 2011 for a little while now, and many will still have to wait a few hours. I haven't received your parcel, but the further I can stretch out getting presents, the better, I think. :P I'm really looking forward to it. I know it's going to be super.
I'm so glad you liked your gift! My sister-in-law made the little decoration and I bought it off her, as I thought it was sweet. And for some reason, I always get the urge to send you something related to the 1920s/30s - that's why I got the cards. Maybe it's because you send me all that adorable Jeeves & Wooster art. :3

I totally overread your comment about the computer not taking AIM and then of course stupidly commented that's where I'd be. *facepalm* I am such an idiot sometimes.
Any idea when your computer will be back?
Anyway, wishing you goodnight and farewell for now :) I will chat you soon, hopefully!

The bad news doesn't effect me directly, but it's going to be very hard on a lot of my family. One of my great uncles died just after Christmas, and then we found out that my uncle's wife has breast cancer. I'm not really that close to my cousins and my uncle anymore, so it's difficult to know what to do. I suppose I just have to hope for the best for them...
Of course I can forgive some shelf-wear. It's a fantastic present; I love the t-shirt too, and the little mice in a box. I've been showing them to everybody. They even inspired a finger puppet project that will probably never come to fruition (late at night, recreating A Song of Ice and Fire with finger puppets seemed like a great idea...). The tea was such a perfect idea and I was so looking forward to tasting it. Then I noticed that it had mint in it. And I'm cursing myself, because of ( ... )
