Whats with everyones obsession with definition?

i mean with relationships and self importance

because as humans, unless we can lable something, we fear it... and what is a lable but a definition??? definition is important, it keeps order, it makes things make sense... as humans that is how we are programmed to think.. very systematically, very robotically... kinda a paradox, no? yes! but that's what is with people's obsession with definitions... some take it too far, of course... but without definition, of ourselves and our place in the world, there would be no order, and thus chaos... and dont you get a sense of satisfaction knowing rather than wondering... even if you dont agree with what u are defined as???

wow that was a longer response than i meant to give... but thats my opinion on the matter.
