Oh fuck, Steve having thoughts of Danny when he's with Catherine, oh hell yeah. I really liked it, liked the way you snuck in the slash LOL. And you can post it at hawaii5_o_het - this is one of the rare fandoms I actually read het and slash. And if you should decide on a sequel, I'm all for it. The thing I noticed about Catherine vs. Danny is that Catherine has SEX with Steve, while Danny has an actual RELATIONSHIP with Steve.

Catherine's not a dumb girl, I don't believe. She's gotta know she's got no future with Steve - that this is just about fun and sex and something to do on shore leave. One day she'll find the right person, then she'll be happy for Steve and Danny at their wedding.
