Nothing so bad as what you're thinking, I'm sure. But you have my thanks for keeping an eye on the young master the day I was rather...unfortunately incapacitated.

I'm starting to see that 'strange' is rather the norm around here.

He wasn't too much trouble then?

You got that right.

No, not at all. I only stopped by shortly, anyway - after we both teased him about self-sufficiency, he seemed determined to prove himself and said I shouldn't bother. I insisted to at least come by during the afternoon.

So long as it doesn't happen again.

Is that so? Well independence is always a good thing to have. Especially here it seems, where people come and go at the drop of a hat.

Yes, that's the general consensus.

A killing curse. Now that would be interesting to witness.

And? Are you learning to cope?

What? It's hideous!

... I guess I am.

But would it stand to kill someone who cannot be killed? That is what I would like to know.

Then that's the main thing.

... I wouldn't rule it out. Why do you want to know that?

It's still more than anyone should have to cope with!

Call it curiosity. Let's just say there are a few immortal beings here I'd be interested to see handle such a situation.

And if you have no choice but to cope? This City hardly plays fair.
