Vocab Story: Part Dos!

Feb 08, 2006 18:42

Alright, I guess I'll continue with the vocab epic since there are a couple of people who read it. If you didn't read the first one, go here: http://trumpet-boy63.livejournal.com/23736.html and read that first...

Cassie and Mike were still waiting for Jeremy to finish his bizarre staring contest arena, it had been three hours already.
"You know, I don't even want to do the stupid staring contest anymore!" Cassie yelled down the hallway towards the room Jeremy was in.
"Good! We're not gonna be doing a staring contest anyway. My contest is much more extreme!" Jeremy said in a supercilious manner. He came out of the room soaking wet and Cassie and Mike just stared.
"Well, the arena is finished. Mike, you're exempt from this contest so feel free to sit in the grand stands." Jeremy said. "Cassie, follow me."
As they both walked down the hallway, Cassie started bantering Jeremy.
"I can't wait to see what the challenge is," she said, "I bet it's something silly like a rolling chair derby!"
"Nope," said Jeremy, "it's much sillier than that. Extreme underwater basket weaving!" And with that, he pulled back a curtain revealing a huge pool of water filled with what looked like those plastic shark toys you find at the dollar store and one single person sitting in the stands. Jeremy had a complacent look on his face.
"Just an intimation, you may want to watch out for those sharks!" Mike yelled down holding back a fit of giggles. "They seem to be very fractious!"
Cassie burst out in laughter until she saw the seriousness on Jeremy's face.
"Have you ever tried underwater basket weaving? It's not that easy." he said.
They both got into the pool and Cassie waded out a bit.
"Oh no!" she said sarcastically, "The sharks have got me!" She laughed but then was pulled deep into the pool.
"Alright Cassie, you can stop feigning." Jeremy said nervously.
Meanwhile, Cassie was being dragged through the contiguous tunnels under the pool to a desolate island.

There you have it. What will happen to Cassie? I guess you'll have to wait for the next part!
