AI Final and other thoughts

For the first time in the entire history of the show, the guy I wanted to win won. God help him now, he's in the clutches of the most mercenary pop music scum in the record business today, but he won. I'm sure David Cook would not equivocate in his assertions of happiness, though. That was the most enjoyable finale they've had since I've been watching this show (since AI2). My personal highlights:

- Carrie Underwood's performance
- The Guitar Hero commercials
- Robert Downey Jr. as a Pip!

I was glancing at news headlines on my computer the other day and stumbled across two headlines written one above the other that went something like this:

Obama Blah Blah Oregon Blah Blah Blah
Bin Laden Blah Blah New Message Blah Blah

The two names so close together made me uncomfortable. Is that silly? Probably. But what can I say? I read things too fast and get easily confused.

Also, I was thinking Bill would make a fabulous First Lady and I'm sad that this probably won't happen.

I hate politics.

I'm going to bed now.
