yeah I heard that some seniors got mad at how we were holdin our hands. but thats how we did it all the time at mesquite (old band) so It didn't make any difference to me, except the way we do it now is soo much less painfull I agree lol.

I really like the tuba section and the people, they're all awesome. except this guy (sam, I think his name is) who is teaching me keeps getting really annoyed when I don't play something absolutely perfect. seriously I'm like "I've ONLY been playing Tuba for a day, so please cut me some slack!" but w'e I like it a lot otherwise And He's off to college in a few weeks.

In camp today we just reviewed what we learned yesterday and we learned backwards marching...and we played through fire and purple haze and started what is hip

yeah, A couple of people were saying how the rookies are so much better than they are already :P that makes me laugh lol.

I think the Sam problem is solved though, he said friday was his last day because he made a security guard mad and the SG said that if he found him (sam) on campus again he would call the police. I was like HA! but seriously, some people need lives. thats just pathetic how hes living his life through 15 year olds.

Most of us, seniors, don't like that she's trying to change the band A LOT. Mr. Dallabetta [her husbands' dad....weird I know.] retired my sophomore year, ever since then she's been changing what he had worked for so hard. Last school year, at the end of the year we had auditions for MARCHING season. She told everyone that she was going to cut people, and that the band was only going to be 90 people. After we worked hard to do our audition, on graduation night she told us that everyone was still in band. =/

Oh god.. Sam. He graduated 2 years ago, and it's like he still lives in the band room. It's really sad.. he doesn't have a life. All he does is come and yell at our band members. Yeah, he's a good player but he takes it too far.

So far.. I'm pretty much happy with how things are going. I'm playing piccolo so it's even better. ^.^ Though one sad/weird thing.. is that our freshman flutes are better than our soph. =|
