And deepening your religious walk is good.
But watch out--some of your Christian brethren have very rigid ideas about who is definitely destined for Hell.

Humans are territorial and they think this is good, this is bad, this person is saved, this person is damned. THis is righteous, this is evil.
God has a bigger sense of humor and is less territorial.
People were torturing Jesus to death and he didn't say, "You are damned" he said "Forgive them Father for they know not what they are doing."
The preachers that I hear on television are more interested in good and bad. They appear to see Satan behind every bush.
Jesus is interested in forgiveness and love.
The way Jesus thinks is shown by the Course in Miracles.

I said, "Why didnt you convert to Christianity?"
He said, "Because Jesus knew exactly how much time he had with me and what he wanted to say and he never mentioned conversion. He said, "Always live with your bags packed because you never know when you are going to die."
If Jesus felt that Christians would have been good for my friend, he would have steered my friend to some church.
Jesus knew what my friend was reading, who his spiritual friends were, and everthing about him--and he didn't try to change those things at all.
Christians think "No one comes to the father but through my particular churches vision of who Jesus is"
Jesus said that you need Christ consciousness to get to the Father. Christ consciousness is a station that any person can get to with Christ or without him.
People got to the Father before Christ was born.
People get to the Father in societies that have never heard of Christ.
