it is sometimes rough being the people we are... it is also sometimes rough knowing the people we know. in our life things pass easly and too many pass not doing the things they love. i hope your friend jeff rests in peace and skis the best damn set of moguls anyone could ever wish for.

No more details yet… they’ve just said that everything points to an accidental slip and fall from a precipitous ridgeline.

I'm sorry you lost your friend. There was even an article about his death in our local paper here in Indiana. I recognized the name from your journal. I think it would be much better to go laughing or doing something that you love rather than miserable or hooked up to life support machines. It's nice that he had the foresight to write his family a letter like that that would be comforting to them in just this situation.
