Yes we were on tv courtesy of simon amstell our new bestest friend! During the warm up he mentioned us and was like there are two lady friends of mine here and so we waved at him and he recognized us and told everyone that he's met us at the kaiser chiefs gig and that we said we'd watched the show and he'd said REALLY? and so he'd given us tickets ( Read more... )

yes but what with it being free also means that they have limited places so we have to get there for about 6 even though the band won't be on till 8. So my saturday will be spent hanging out in a pub in east london.

Aww Simon sounds like the nicest person ever, I'm always afraid to meet (not that I get the chance, oop norf tis dead) people I admire incase they're nasty or something.

No we were worried he'd tell us to piss off but he wasn't so i still have faith in humanity; everyone should try and meet him.
