yes sorry more yeti and it's never going to stop cause I’m seeing them on Thursday (tomorrow) too. So yeti at oxford was bonne as usual though not to the standard of Newcastle.

First off i try to get a poster for the gig which charlotte takes down for me but i end up being shouted at for taking it by some scary girl with a piercing in her cheek. Fortunately after running off and coming back later we see her leave and so we get in there, first in the queue, in fact only people there for a good while until Graham comes out and this time it isn't just a 'don't i recognise you from somewhere?' it's more 'hey i know you' look. He’s followed by Harmony and Andrew and so Faith and I wave Yeti monopoly at them and they call John over from the tour bus and well they love it. John turns in to a little kiddy and we show him everything we made and all he can say is "wow" in such an awed tone. He’s so lovely to talk to, he seems really friendly whereas on stage he always seems slightly more aloof. Everyone loves the money because it’s smaller than what you expect as it came from travel monopoly and so is deemed ‘cute’. We have a little chat about other things like trying to get yeti to practise in Faith's music room not that we don't love potato whore or whatever their called but it would be yeti literally in our own back room. John thanks us for making the set and promises to play it on the tour bus and after giving us all a hug and a kiss left to eat.

Being used to meeting them has stopped us spazzing as much as usual and unfortunately we still have another hour to wait till the doors opened and then another hour and a quarter till the first band. We are first in the longest queue i've ever seen for any yeti gig and we are at the front still!!! We are allowed in at 7.30 and I laugh with the ticket guard cause i can't tell my left from my right and he says that i should write it on my hands and so we go through fine and are greeted by an empty room with a disco ball. We of course run straight to the merchandise stall but nobody is there yet so we have some water and wait while watching the coolness that is braces guy and tweed waistcoat and hat guy.

Eventually the first band take the stage and i feel like fainting but know i can't because i know i wouldn't get to see yeti if i did. I would be shipped home. The support aren't bad except there the bassist is singing which is just unheard of for good reason usually; the guitarist gets up on the railings separating us from the stage and tip-toes along it with his head touching the ceiling i feel if he feel there would be nothing i could do i would just have to hope i would be quick enough to step out of his way. They are on for a half hour and it is one of the worst half hours i have endured though they are much better than the homewrecker's club.

Graham and a roadie appear with the drums and start making the kit up and once the kit is finished the rest of the band appear. Brendan is carrying 2 basses at which i am disgusted that the band should possible think that they need a spare, well in fact they do since John's string breaks though no one notices apart from me since the sound is still amazing and they are all dancing i can't because i am trying not to be sick. I take a few photos i hate using the flash in fact i hate taking photos of yeti because i worry that they are embarrassed and don't like it, but i did any cause and i try without the flash and it doesn't work so i end up using the flash. I want a picture of their shoes but since the flash is on feel that john may not appreciate me taking photos of his rather tatty shoes so i don't. i spend most of the set resting my head on the railings watching how John plays guitar Harmony catches my eye and cocks his head to one side so he can see me properly and gives me a smile. The set is the same as it was for the Cluny except for one new song though my favourites still lie in last time and Harmony's newest one In Love With You which is beautiful. By the very last song I am feeling better and finally don't want to be sick any more such is my luck. When the boys leave i worry there will be no encore for they are gone a long time and I do a lot of clapping alone as no one wants to join in but eventually they appear but I’m still ill enough not to spaz over Harmony playing insect eating man which i feel was probably appreciated by them. I manage to film most of the song though I’m shaking quite a lot. They are cheered off stage and the short girl next to me grabs the set list though I’m told when someone asked for Graham's he wouldn't give it to them though Faith's says if I’d asked it would have been a different answer. Braces guy grabs John's broken string, which is weird but does not surprising me.

As soon as they are all through the backstage door I’m pulled to the yeti stall where i purchase the white tee shirt and each colour of badge. I'm surprised by the variety of shirt sizes Kol and the kaiser's unless you got men's it was medium or nothing but this tee is a good fit. The venue clears quickly and we are some of the few people to buy anything and by the time we've got our tees and checked the time Graham is standing next to me asking me how i liked the gig and of course i have no need to lie so i tell him it was amazing and he drummed very well. He mentions how i looked tired and i explain how ill i felt though now i have perked up. I question him about yeti monopoly and he tells us it is good enough for a business studies project. He asks if i got enough photos which is embarrassing and then i realize it must have looked like i was taking a lot since the girl next to me also had her camera out with the flash on.

Suddenly I notice Graham’s accent it’s sexy and so I ask where he’s from no it’s not bad it’s Blackpool which is cool. I manage a sensible question about what he’s listening to apart from yeti and I get the answer The Proclaimers at which point I accidentally say that my mother is a fan which leads on to whether he got to see them when they’d played at Middlebourgh with them to which I get a disappointed no. I remember to take off my yeti shoe to show him and he is impressed but tells me he never liked the old logo, which is disappointing. I ask him to sign it and he asks Brendan and Harmony if they will too, none of them comments on the size of my feet though I catch them all looking at me oddly since I only have one shoe on and my socks are too big and they end up smelling of smoke. I try to ask for a hug mostly from Graham but everyone is distracted by the bouncer trying to get everyone out so he can go for a drink. We are the first people through the front doors and the last people out of them.

I really want to die on the way home from Oxford and am surprised I’m not sick, I can’t sleep at Faith’s and end up finishing the A-list which does not improve my mood.
