Yes, I've seen the Blow Up actually. Awesome movie.

Well, I usually recommend Scorsese and Woody Allen's pictures. They're my fav directors. For example, Martin's King Of Comedy is not so famous film, but it's BRILLIANT. I love Gangs of New York too. Ummm... The Age of Innocence is also great. When it comes to other directors... Ang Lee has amazing films. You should check out Ice Storm if you already haven't. Sofia Coppola's films. Both Virgin Suicides and Lost In Translation. I also love Fight Club, although I'm not such a huge Brad Pitt fan. But I think movie is really good and Edward Norton is amazing. I'll try to think of some more. My mind is like blocked right now. LOL

thanks that's great. i'm trying to pick films out of this 1001 films you should see before you die so narrowing it down is hard and you were the first person who i thought of to ask for advice. I'm pretty much sticking to pre 80s stuff at the moment but i'd do need a few moedern classics so those might be good. I've seen Virgin Suicides and Fight Club they're great films definately. That's really helpful thanks. x
