I have implemented my new trust metric, and applied it (fairly crudely) to LiveJournal friends lists as an experiment. The result is a tool that tells you who is "closest" to your friends list who isn't actually on it, like "popfriends" but more sophisticated.

I am curious how it works as I only have three people on my friends list. Many of the results seem to be their friends - with a few odd one's thrown in.

An interesting and very clever tool though. And I applaud you for taking the time to do it. And for sharing it.
