TrustFlow for LiveJournal

Frequently asked questions

What do the results mean?
TrustFlow is making a guess at who is "near" your friends list; who might be on it, but isn't. It does this by looking at your friends list, and the friends list of your friends, and so on.

Is this based on who reads my journal, or interests, or what?
No. ( Read more... )

That is extremely interesting. I'm baffled as to why so many people are so confused and are concentrating on the "trust" bit and whining about how they don't see what it has to do with trust. Never mind the name of it - the fact that it can compile a list like that is really cool. I recognise so many of the names on that list, and yet there are others that I'm not sure where they're from. Fascinating. I'm really impressed! *thumbs up*

It's crashing my browser (IE 6.0, Windows XP, fully patched) when run on my account. It does display about 15 or so lines of results first, though...

That's odd; it doesn't do anything particularly strange or interesting (it doesn't for example, use JavaScript). You've tried several times?

Yup. Crashes the same way on rosefox too.

I thought the top of the list was supposed to be closest in location, but I see that is not the case ( ... )
