i love the way you write. if you ever write a book, i don't know if this is a goal of yours or not, but i will be buying it and reading it. :)

Thank you so much.

The encouraging words really motivate me to write more frequently. I'm glad you liked it.

I gave you that fork because I thought you were more responsible than me, and would remember to take it out of your bag when you got home. It looks like I was wrong. We must both be walking around with full sets of silverware in our satchels.

Ah.. see, my question was going to be why the fork was there to begin with. But I guess that now I should ask why you had a fork in your bag.

Peter, do you compose this in your head as the day goes by? Or just think and write about it after the fact? Either way, it's impressive.

And I wish that I could tell you that the voir dire process makes it more interesting, but that would be a lie. Well, I guess it might be "interesting" if it results in being on a jury, but that's another problem entirely..

It's a little bit of as the day goes by and a little bit of after the fact, but it depends on the subject.

In this case, it was mostly things I thought of at the time and decided to write about when I got home. When I'm on my own for longer periods of time I slip into moods where I begin to analyze everything more creatively.

I'm on jury duty for the rest of the month, so I'm sure I'll get selected for a jury eventually.

When we run out of plastic utensils I bring real forks to work, then pass them off to Peter because I never remember to take them out of my purse.
