When you think of death, what comes to your mind first? Lately its been the hot topic for my mind, and its disturbing. What I keep getting from my mind is the thought of when I'm 40 or 45 and I'm at my parents funeral. After that, I keep flashing back to all the good memories that I've had with them and then that deep, consuming ache in my heart

i agree...i never really thought about it but yeah i think i would regret spending not as much time with my parents as i would like

The topic occupied my mind heavily in middle school. I think that was my "emo" age. I once cried in third grade when I thought about my grandparents dying one day.
