when you are like this you are blind to yourself. you call me selfish, but i wouldn't have told you if it didnt help you. funny how you see it. i do what you ask and i get yelled at for it. well then you are on your own. freedom is yours i cant help you and i wont try. trust is gone and well i guess is what friends are for. I will say that it's surprising to me that he is still so closeted with his friends, especially now that his parents and family knows. I mean, with most people, isn't it usually the other way around? Aren't they more worried about telling their family? Afterall, if a friend doesn't accept you for being gay, you can say, "Fuck off" and find another friend who will accept you. As for family, well saying "fuck off" and finding another family isn't really an option.
Anyway, hope you can work it out.
