[Late into the night Winry decides to visit the boys. She knows about the day, and the secret of Ed's silver watch. She also knows it's cold so she's dressed warmly (and even brought a blanket). With her luck Ed might be sleeping by now, but even if he is Al will be there. The blond wonders if he'd like company, and is coming out of the house now to offer hers.]

[ ed's conked out, his shirt's probably riding up and al can't help but sigh a little. that's his brother alright.

it's been a long day. it always is. if they were home then this long journey would be done... but he can't think about that just yet. he looks up at the sound of approaching footsteps. ] Oh, Winry.

Hey, Al. [She joins the boys, kneeling down by Ed first to give up the blanket she brought to him.]

Yes, I have! [She gets up from tucking Ed into the blanket she draped over him and sits next to Al.]

Yes! Ahh, it was so cute. [ he's careful to keep his voice low, but... winry. he wants one. ] This place really is filled with fantastic things.

[She laughs a little.] You want it because Toothless is like a cat, don't you?

Since you've been here you must have had so many experiences. You must have seen so many amazing things.

[ al looks skyward. winry's been having her own adventures here... not all of them good, but experiences none the less. ]

[Winry scoots closer to Al, and then leans on him. It might be cold, and he is made of metal, but Alphonse is one of her best friends. Time or place will never change that for Winry. She hopes he appreciates the gesture even if he can't feel it.]

Nothing can replace what we had back home. At least everyone goes back hom eventually.

Yeah... [ an a thoughtful pause. ] When we get home, after our journey ends, I think I want to see the world. There are so many different places here and so many people who've gone across the world, and we've barely been outside of Amestris.
