Thank you so much for your comment! I completely agree. Abram could've taken the imperfect reward from this earthly king, whose city was later destroyed because of the sin there. But he knew exactly where he stood with his Father and that His reward would always be the best. I think it takes a person who knows exactly where they stand with God to be able to stand firm in situations such as these.
