Oh. Oh, that was beautiful.

I love everything about this fic: Tony charging in - smartly - and kicking ass, even without the armour, because of Steve's training, and him using the shield, and villain working for Red Skull, and all the details with the businesses... *happy sigh* The storyline could honestly have come from one of the comics, it's so in character.

And the ending: Steve being proud of Tony. *wibbles* The banter and the byplay and the kissing and... *flails*

Thank you so much for your kind words! I really had fun working with Tony being a BAMF; he seems to get hit by setbacks so frequently that it's easy to forget what a badass he can be.

The storyline could honestly have come from one of the comics, it's so in character.

wow. you hit most of my buttons. I love Tony as a savy bussinesman. I love Tony kicking ass without his armor.

I have to say though, that as much as I loved Tony running around knocking troopers out with Steve,s shield my favorite lign will have to be "Did you just hack into my security system with your *phone*?"

Priceless. almost as good as the "Tony Stark built it in a cave, out of a bunch of scraps!" of IM1

I will admit that's one of my favorite lines in this piece. Tony must be impossible to have around.

Thank you for your feedback! I'm glad that partnership came through; I was a little worried at the lack of screen time for Steve. Hopefully his dramatic Nazi-punching entrance helped make up for it.

This was just so faboooooo. I loved your Tony voice and his interactions with Steve and Reva and her crew. The love that you intertwined Tony's intelligence and physicality in this fic, so many of us only concentrate on his brains and attribute his strength to the suit. You gave us both \0/. And he rescued Steve's shield and took out several baddies by himself and rescued Happy and was actually doing better without the armor. Loved how you had Steve so proud of Tony and their secret kisses before the calvary arrived.
This was very exciting and moving and thrilling fic, Thank you for sharing it with us.

I really had a lot of fun playing up Tony's bad-ass abilities here. The suit is awesome, but it's so awesome that sometimes it's easy to forget about the guy inside it.
