I guess it'd be a good time to update about Homecoming and such..
well, its bittersweet. I had SUCH a good time last week, I mean what can compete with two great weekends and an awesome week in the middle of them? Nothing, that is what. So last week was spirit week, which is absolutely amazing. Went real well. Thursday, pep rally, best day ever. I HAVE NEVER SEEN SO MUCH CLASS SPIRIT UNTIL THIS DAY. You could easily distinguish who was in which class, and so many people participated with the togas. Not to mention, NONE of us sat down once, and so many of us lost our voices from yelling constantly. Chants were insane. Games were awesome. Our entrance could have been better if the music worked, but its all good it was fine. <333 for the first time, i love the seniorclass. Seniors won Most Spirited, naturally. I'm still waiting to get pictures from Mr. Gary Manser, because he took a BUNCH, and they're all legit amazing. I'll get those soon, maybe upload them on here for the whole WORLD to see. Who knows. But Homecoming, ahhhh homecoming. SUCH a great day. I had the house to myself all friday night because I wasn't feeling well enough to go to Wuhbecca Wohta's birthday dinner unfortunately.. too bad. Buttt I showered dried my hair and such, then went to bed wicked early.
Woke up Saturday at like fucking 7? And started working on my hair, ate breakfast, did my make up, got my stuff together including my heels and stuff [wasn't going to put those bad boys on right away obviously], got dressed, got my lei =] and headed down to Morgan to get amped for the parade. Might I add that I made the best mix for Saturday, to get me amped for the day in general.
Got down to Morgan, I was the last princess to get there, but I was all ready to go so it didn't matter. Bummed around the parking lot, the boys started grilling up all the hotdogs on the float. =]] best ever. It was such an entertaining sight, you see all of the other underclassmen in Winter Gear, dressed in Halloween costumes and stuff, then the freshies in like rain ponchos then you look over at us and see all the girls in bathing suits and the boys in boardshorts with no shirts and eventually when we got over to the commuter, kyle and hussface in fucking SPEEDOS. what up lifeguards! it was the funniest thing I've ever seen.
Thank God we had amazing weather. Blue skies and mid to high 60's. Absolutely perfect. Ahh I can't even express how thankful I am. I think the weather made everything go much smoother. We got on the road [unfortuantely they didn't close down both lanes like they usually do, butttt that wasn't really a set back] Let me just say that our float looked SO fucking Ballin' I can't describe. Oh and I forgot to mention, Steve and I never talked about what we were wearing together in the convertable. We knew that we had Ashley Hames' mom, Lynn's BMW though =] so perfect. We show up saturday morning, and he's wearing a BLUE ARGYLE SWEATER AND A PALE BLUE BUTTON DOWN UNDERNEATH. we matched SO well, like not the kind of awkward both wearing blue thing, but incredibly well.
We settled ourselves in the car, which looked amazing with us in blue. And Lynn is SO sweet and so much fun, we had a blast. It sounds so cheesy saying it, but riding in that convertable with Steph's gown on with and my TIARA on, and steve next to me with his sash, and we're both smiling.. but like genuine smiles because we know we deserved it, and seeing so many people from town just making a huge fuss over us: taking pictures, waving, smiling. It was the best feeling. I really felt special. And feeling special is probably one of the best. Let me just say that our float looked SO bitchin' from where we were riding behind it. The music was loud. The boys were playing beach volleyball on the back where we had BEACH SAND AND A NET!? the girls all looked gorgeous. the hotdogs were SUCH a good idea. The boys would jump off and pass them out to the judges and people along the road, it was so sweet. At one point, Frank and Brian came back with Hotdogs and gave them to all of us in the car. So Steve and I are like mowing face and people are laughing at us for being such slop houses haha. whatevs so great.
Most awkward moment was when we drove past the first entrance to joel, because thats where Ange, Cait, Cory, and Krysta were. I get along with Ange and Cait fine.. but Cory and Krysta are another story. Cory and Steve broke up earlier this fall and I'm now riding in a car with him. I could tell it was kind of tense I don't know, it was just a little awkward. butttt it was nice to see Ange. And cait, since I was wearing the dress she wore junior year when she was princess. Marianne and I went on some errands and went and got lunch, I covered my whole body with napkins so that I didn't make a mess. It was so funny seeing peoples looks. Them telling me that I looked pretty and being random it was nice. haha.
Game was at 1:30.. got there and hung out with Syd, JuBag, Kels etc. Love my juniors. Those girls are my life. WE SCORED TWO TOUCHDOWNS WITHIN 2 MINUTES OF KICK OFF. MORGAN FUCKING FOOTBALL?! SCORED?!! we won by a lot.. they scored like 2 more touchdowns in the first half alone. all of the court people all got ready to walk, stressed because dan lee was with football and couldn't walk whatevs. had escorts? haha so random. got a longstem pink rose. so pretty. we didn't win for the parade. the juniors did. apperantly it had to do with technical shit with the "tiki bar" because bar insinuates drinking. having a grill on a float. hahah and i'm sure having two boys skantily dressed didn't help.. although it might have actually swayed some judges because it was just so funny. But the juniors was really good, not gonna lie, they had a snowball fight and stuff and it was real cute.
Left the game at halftime, and took a nap. relaxed. whatevs. it was nice. straightened my hair, did my make up.. realized that i didn't have adhesive for my lashes when i was about to put them on at like 6:30. finally got all ready by like 7:30, let marianne take her usual pictures beforehand. she cried. it was actually really sad.. my last one.
the dance was full of freshies who didn't know what to wear at all. i definitely raped the dance floor. raped the freshmen boys. raped asses [jamie, carly and i definitely went up to random people and made things reeeeeeeeally awkward by pinching their butts and walking away laughing] . got accused by like.. 12 year olds of being wasted. raped nicky. raped frank. raped vin and josh. got raped by manar. although the dj was horrible, the night was good. decided not to go out with carly after because i was exhausted. all in all it was a great day.
may i just point out that now in school, its a little awkward. Nick tells me he loves me all the time, I think my raping, sandwiching and corrupting him on saturday had a little to do with it. Vin and Josh are MUCH more friendly to me, might have something to do with the fact that I was kind of all over them for a bit on the dance floor. But Frank and I still don't talk very much.. even if I WANT him ahah Beezer and I are going to freakin' rape this kid. oh jeez.
