(no subject)
In previous entries, I said how much I loved Cameron and Trevor. I absolutely adore those boys.
My Fourth ended up being .
Basically I went to Prince Charles' house with Cora around 11 because she had to work kinda late. But it seemed like the boys were seriously waiting for us, I got a call from Ethan when we were 10 minutes again. A call from Willi when we were at the end of his driveway. And then another call from Ethan when we were literally walking up the drive way. Cora ran in to use the bathroom and I stayed and goofed around in the drive in front of the house with a couple of the boys and we all went into the back together, i was like embraced by Cam and Ethan and we all stumbled in back. It was like, a reasonable amount of people, not TOO many girls besides me and Cora, but enough so we weren't entirely the only girls. But anyway, we said our hellos to people -- a bunch of people I hadn't seen in a very long time which was nice, but a bit awkward. Anyway, cora and I got to drinkin our wineeee. Trevor finally noticed that we were there and came over and literally gave me the BIGGEST hug. I was a little surprised because normally he is actually very soft spoken for the most part, but he seemed genuinely happy to see us. A very nice surprise. :)
So Cora and I hung around, I showed a couple of the boys my skill at opening bottles of beer or drinks with my teeth. I know.. classy. hahah. Well my mother sent me with like 4 boxes of sparklers which ended up being more of a hit than I expected. Me, Cora, Cameron and Ethan just danced around the yard and around the fire with our sparklers and people seriously must have thought we were NUTS. Whatever, we didn't care. It was perfect, one of those movie moments.
THEN we started dancing. It all began with the 4 of us with the sparklers, but we gradually kept adding on people. This girl Jessie (who I had met last year when I was dating Willi.. kind of weird seeing her again) was waaaasted and was dancing all over Willi which was kind of funny because .. seriously? haha Weeeeell, we all were going crazy and the one song me, cam and trevor wanted to hear wasn't loud enough, so the 3 of us plus cora and ethan went down the drive to their car (willi lives in the woods so he has a long driveway). We danced for a good 20 minutes then headed back to the house but it was just seriously the goofiest thing ever, powerfisting and "guido shuffling" (Trevor's own creation haha) and we just laughed SOO hard. We headed back and drank a little more and then the dance party continued seriously until close to 1:30 when Willi's mom (who was away) was calling and seemed a little curious as to the noise or whatever so Cam and Trevor kept saying to me and Cora stuff like "Swimming. Beach it!. Captain Ron!"
So Cora and I drove to their beach and the 4 of us plus Trevor's friend Joe from school (who was visiting) all RAN down Menunketesuck straight to the beach.. well Cora and I ran the entire way, the boys took a little longer because of Cameron's knee. The water was freeeezing! Absolutely was worth it though. The boys brought a bottle of Sweet Vermouth liquor and we each passed the bottle around while trying to get warm which was nooo easy feat! We swam like 50 feet out to the raft and the 4 of us (joe stayed ashore because he was taaaanked!) just sat out on the raft talking and laughing and I don't think I've ever loved them more. In that moment everything was still, and we just enjoyed each others company. My head was on Cameron's chest and Cora was on my legs and Trevor was just sprawled out. But it was perfect. Simply perfect. We all swam back, not all that happy about it because it was soo cold. Then we all went inside an watched Taboo, this horrible movie we had started earlier this week but stopped to watch Entourage. The boys fell asleep. Literally passed out, Trevor's head on was on my shoulder.. absolutely adorable. I LOVE those boys so freakin' much. And what was weird is that this girl Taylor who had been like kinda intruding on the boys hanging out with us and stuff, and she is so cute and really nice but they're MY boys.. ya know? Well, anyway she was there at Willi's and was actually so much fun but the boys were more focused on me and Cora, like they didn't even invite her and her sister Evie who was here to come to the beach with us. It was great.
Yesterday I just bummed around because we didn't get home until like 4. Ah! And I desperately just needed to relax after the night I had just had. Cam and Ethan texted me telling me to come down to the beach and stuff. So I ate dinner DIDN"T shower so I felt disgusting and packed up like 3 changes of clothes because Friday night I was freezing and unprepared for the night swim with the boys. So me, Ethan, Cameron and Trevor took the Zodiac out to go crabbing. We anchored by the train bridge and Trev and I got off to go jumping. Might I add, he and I had JUST been talking about our fears- him with Spiders and me with heights. how does that figure?! Well we just stood for a few minutes, then put our shirts down and had to hunker a couple times when the trains went by. Until the Accela came by and as it went by us we JUMPED. I don't think I've ever felt so exhilarated than I did in that moment. That was the only time we jumped because getting back up and swimming against the current was so freakin' hard. But seriously, so much fun. Just sitting in that boat drifting along with those boys- they're what I needed all along. This summer is amazing already and its already half over.
Well, after we got back we all changed- Cam and Trevor took showers and we just bummed and watched a lacrosse game on TV until dinner was ready. I ate dinner with the boys and Trev & Cam's parents. I am in love with this family. I love their Dad, and their Mom seemed finally really happy to have me around (normally it has been a little bit tense, like I wasn't good enough for her sons) and we all just sat around joking and telling stories about injuries. Cam and I showed our matching outfits (Royal Blue shirts, gym shorts, gray sweats rolled up) but the funny part was when we both went to show that our pants were rolled, we lifted our legs synchronized. So goofy. We ALL snuggled up on the couches and watched some movie that Kurt Russell is in (Captain Ron, so the boys were very interested) it was not a very good movie so Cam went to bed, Ethan fell asleep in the chair and I started drifting off to sleep with my head on the pillow between me and Trevor with his head on my shoulder. I left at like 11:30 and came home nice and early and slept until 1-ish this afternoon.
This weekend I'm going to NYC with Jenn & the girls for her 21st birthday party :) verrry fun! It'll be an experience.
I love my friends. I love summer. I love teaching (Monday through Thursday 7:45-11:30 for the next 4 weeks).
