I found an old journal from when I was in third grade. The first half is typical kid stuff, what I did at recess, talking about friends coming over and what I ate for dinner last night, etc. Things change when you get to 4/15/97: "I got a new computer a few day's ago thats all i feel like writeing

I must've played hundreds of hours of Riven in fourth grade.

Games didn't factor greatly into my childhood. Aside mommy and daddy being less than approving of them, I just seemed more content to watch my friends play - granted, they were good.

I remember finding a journal I used briefly, and being horrified at how profane and my 11 year old self was O_o;;
